How to Use Image Converter & Size Reducer
Step 1: Uploading an Image
- Locate the "Upload Image" Button: This button is prominently displayed at the top of the tool's interface.
- Click the Button: Left-click on the "Upload Image" button to open the file dialog box.
- Choose an Image File: Navigate to the location of the image file on your device using the file dialog box.
- Select the Image: Once you've located the desired image file, click on it to select it.
- Confirm Selection: Depending on your operating system, you may need to click an "Open" or "Choose" button to confirm your selection.
Step 2: Monitoring the Upload Progress
- Observe the Progress Bar: After selecting the image file, a progress bar will appear below the upload button.
- Wait for Completion: The progress bar will fill gradually as the image is uploaded. Wait until it reaches 100% before proceeding.
Step 3: Choosing the Conversion Type
- Locate the Dropdown Menu: Below the upload button, you'll find a dropdown menu labeled "Choose Action."
- Click the Dropdown Menu: Left-click on the dropdown menu to view the available options.
- Select an Action: Choose between "Convert Format" and "Reduce Size" by left-clicking on the desired option.
Step 4: Configuring Conversion Options (If Applicable)
For Format Conversion:
- Select Output Format: If you chose "Convert Format," another dropdown menu labeled "Format" will appear.
- Choose a Format: Left-click on the dropdown menu to view the available format options (JPEG, PNG, GIF), then select one.
For Size Reduction:
- Adjust the Slider: If you chose "Reduce Size," you'll see a slider labeled "Reduce Size."
- Move the Slider: Left-click and drag the slider knob to the left or right to decrease or increase the percentage of size reduction.
- Alternatively, Enter a Value: You can also manually enter a value in the input box next to the slider to specify the desired percentage.
Step 5: Initiating the Conversion Process
- Click the "Convert" Button: Once you've configured the conversion options to your satisfaction, left-click on the "Convert" button.
- Observe the Progress: A new progress bar will appear, indicating the progress of the conversion process.
Step 6: Downloading the Converted Image
- Wait for Completion: Allow the conversion process to complete fully. The progress bar will reach 100% when finished.
- Download Button Appears: After successful conversion, a "Download Converted Image" button will appear.
- Click the Download Button: Left-click on the "Download Converted Image" button to save the converted image file to your device.
Step 7: Resetting the Tool (Optional)
- Locate the "Reset" Button: At the bottom of the interface, you'll find a "Reset" button.
- Click the Reset Button: If you wish to start over or make changes, left-click on the "Reset" button.
- Confirmation Prompt: A confirmation dialog will appear asking if you're sure you want to reset the tool.
- Confirm Reset: If you're certain, left-click on the "Confirm" or "Yes" option in the dialog box.
- Reset Process: The tool will reset to its initial state, clearing the uploaded image and any configured conversion options.
